NYCFC Players Wanted Thread

My dream replacement for villa is edison cavani, he is a big enough name to generate buzz, seems to be on the way out at psg, he plays with a ton of passion and would be a statement signing as he would have at least a few more years where he could in the conversation for top striker in europe. I know it seems like a pipe dream but that is at least the caliber of player I want to see take up villa's DP spot
And imagine the marketing opportunities with him and Haak.

How could you confuse a mullet with anything else?
from far they have the same hair color, skin color, build and shape, and both wore headbands, From up close, sure, I know who is who, but not from far, at least for me.

TMac and Mix do not have the same build and shape. One looks like a soccer player and the other a culinary student. That’s all you needed to key on.

My bad.... every time I see him I think of this.

I brought his name up a week or two ago. He's not a huge star, but in soccer circles he is. He's still playing at a high level though and the addition of Neymar really made him step up his game. Maybe if PSG can win the CL he may consider a move, but might be a few years away from leaving Europe.

DC United has waived goalkeeper Steve Clark to make room for Bill Hamid. Clark started 3 seasons in Columbus before a brief turn in Europe and then a return with DC. He has started 8 games for them the last 2 years after starting 100 for Columbus the 3 previous.

So, what do you think? Do we add a 5th goalkeeper to the roster to secure a solid backup for Johnson?

ETA: total comp is $130K/year, which means he’d hit the cap for about $38K with the time left in the season.

Is he good coming up on corners?
