They're not part of the exchange, but the NYC account Liked the UnitedBenj tweet. Very strange. The NYCFC account also follows the UnitedBenj account, which is soccer focused, but real immature rude teen style. NYCFC's account does a nice thing sometimes where they will follow you if you follow them and mention NYCFC in a tweet, and this Like is probably just an accident.

It looks as though they liked it. But it's probably very easy to hit like by accident while scrolling through. Much different then sending out an actual tweet. I'll give them a pass on intended political activism here.

My wife begs to disagree. I haven't ordered or bought more than 1-2 soccer scarves of my own accord in my whole life, but they just keep showing up from NYC STH, US Soccer membership, TR membership, when I went to the Copa America final, etc. We don't have huge closets. At one point US Soccer's membership system went awry and they sent me 3 identical scarves in 6-7 months. OTOH, we really don't need more stuffed animals either. I mean, I have daughters already to make that happen.

That's fair. My thought was to hang them in my son's room. He could care less but I'm trying to indoctrinate him. I have 4 NYCFC scarves, a Celtic scarf and an Everton scarf. One of these days I'll actually hang them and my wife will rejoice to have me clean out the closet.

Today may be a good day to do that
