NYCFC Training Facility Thread

To be fair as Founding City Members, I think it only went out to Year 1 season ticket holders and there will be spots to "buy" through Cityzens.

That's still a ton of people considering there's only 80 spots. Kind of lousy. At the very least they should hold multiple days of these -- open up training for the entire week, try to get as many people as possible there. Especially if there's interest.

I think the biggest mixup, as others have noted, was to allow people to register right away and lock up spots. If they had allowed people to register by a certain date, and then from those names, 80 spots would be randomly drawn, then ok, makes sense.

But otherwise, this just catered towards people that can monitor their email very closely (or just randomly happened to be checking it when it came through) and did not allow those who can't, the chance to attend at all.

It’s Wednesday 532PM and the Training Facility Inauguration invitation to redeem points is not listed on the Cityzens site

Fucking Cityzens portal...

Got the last of 16 spots!
Yeah, their site couldn't handle the traffic. Took me 4min to get from one page to the next. clicked on the purchase and waited another few minutes to connect to the next page that then said there was an error and to return to the original market place. I screen shot it since it showed my points deducted and I wanted to be able to argue any error, but then got a confirmation email that I got it and will be contacted about details.

I did the exact same thing.

How many points did it cost?

No, what do they want? Or is it a robocall?

After purchasing the event with my points I got an email saying that someone from NYCFC would be contacting me by phone with info. I guess we'd probably be told what time, what we can bring, etc.

Not yet.

Did you read the description of the event? I skipped reading it to hit the purchase button, but I saw it mentioned a boxlunch being provided. Didn’t know what else was listed.
