Nycfc V Dallas Postmatch

NYCFC losing to Dallas: expected.

Montreal tying LA 0-0: unexpected. Montreal is now four points ahead with three games in hand. I think we're officially out of the playoffs now. Looks more like 2-3% chance of making it.

I think NYCFC waited until we're completely sure 2015 is done to start renewing for 2016.

Well if anyone wants to watch this clusterfuck, YES will be replaying it for us at 1pm tomorrow. You know, when FOOTBALL is on. Get in the fucking sea

Thank you for this info. I came home to a taped baseball game and the last few minutes of our game. On the bright side I did get to redeem the cityzens code. A special thank you to all that posted it in the shoutout box after I asked. I was on a train with spotty service so I wasn't able to follow up with a thank you there.

I honestly cannot comprehend how I can watch Real Madrid, Barça/Atleti, Liverpool/ManUtd live on the same day on my television and then cannot watch NYCFC live IN NEW YORK FUCKING CITY. I had to watch a shitty illegal stream from Sky Sports in England. I don't know what's worse right now: how this club is being run off the field or how the team is being managed on it.

As for the match itself, the biggest take away for me was Patrick Mullins. As someone else already mentioned, the guy worked his ass off. What wasn't mentioned was that Mullins was directly responsible for us scoring our only goal. He tracked back on defense and fought hard to win the ball back. He then played an excellent through ball which led to Grabavoy falling in the box and getting the penalty. Mullins then buried it. Great job Patty

I'll also add this: some people here have said this from the very beginning and some of us buried our heads in the sand but the fact is that this club is so MLS 1.0 right now with our 3 old DP's. CFG has really hamstrung us going forward with their "glamour" marketing signings. Unless something drastic happens this offseason I don't see us being significantly better next year.

Oh and another game in the books yet my signature stat remains accurate.

forget about those marquee matchups. You could watch Bournemouth v. Norwich City yesterday on real TV. Included with your basic package, and no extra fees. Or on a stream, available to subscribers of every satellite/cable provider, not just a select few.
Live.
From another continent.

Look who missed the clearance when the Olimpico was scored. Josh isn't blameless but he probably thought the ball was going to be cleared until his teammate decided he didn't want his hair messed up.

Look at where Tesho gets the ball and guess whose position that is.

One of these days, when I'm not feeling lazy, I'll compile goals that are directly to blame on a Kreis favorite and you'll see why I bitch and moan so much about the same people.

Is there any reason for me to record and watch this game this afternoon?
I don't know about you, but I was completely distracted trying to keep the You Tube link -- thanks to whomever in ShoutBox posted it -- casted while at the same time trying to follow the conversation in ShoutBox -- an education to be sure -- and listening to Jack Curry and that other boob (who I normally like) drone on about statistics of a rain-delayed game when a live soccer match is supposed to be on AND listening to unfamiliar homer announcers...

I wanted to hear my own homer announcers, even if one was a sub.

So, yes, I'm going to record the match and watch it somewhere in between the Jets game, the Rookie game, the Giants game and two MLS matches. What?? No WPSL match tonight?

BTW, how did I completely miss the WNBA playoffs?

They have playoffs?

In a must win game, Mix and Poku were on the bench while Grabavoy and Wingert started. If that doesn't sum up the season I really don't know what does.
.

That does sum us up.
They shouldve started to signal our intent, but we are restrained by Kreis' cautiousness.
There was fight and effort, but that's the minimum we should expect.
