Orlando Postmatch

Am I crazy? I don't see any double negatives nor anything odd with the quote.
Used "not" twice in same sentence - they cancel each other out.

Is not something I will not accept.

-translates to-

Is something I will accept.

Yeah, but that's a somewhat questionable translation (not due to any fault of yours, of course). In English you're totally right that the double negatives cancel out to be a positive but in French that's a "normal" negative. So basically he may have literally said the double negative but it's really pretty unclear which way he meant it.

Caveat: I'm only just learning French so feel free to ignore me. Or you could ignore me just because. That's fine too.

Right, he's saying he will NOT accept the personal attack. I think?

Got it. So PV is going to take pleasure beating them now that Kreis has made it personal. I hope we get to play Orlando in the USOpen Cup in the later rounds - want to wind him up again just to see that shit-eating frown on his face during the half-time interview.

Clarification:
“We said hello, talked about the previous game, the next game, about how his team is going,” Vieira said. “I have respect for every single coach in the league. Of course, sometimes we can disagree on the way we see the game, but the personal attack is not something I will accept. It’s disappointing, but that’s the way it is.

“I had respect for him before and I will respect him again after,” Vieira added. “The respect of him is not going to change. Of course, I didn’t like the way that he talked about me not having respect and this is something I don’t accept.”

Last night I was on the MLS app on my phone and decided to take a look at some of the stats from this game and came across something I found nerdly interesting....our starting lineup....

(just needed Okoli in for Wallace)
