Orlando - Postmatch

Did Ring make a stupid decision taking a yellow card for suspension with 2 minutes left in a 2-0 win, or was he told to take it so he could rest against Seattle?
Booth should be letting us know shortly. #askedontwitter #prayforMaxi

ETA: Never mind. He doesn’t know either. #prayforMarktoo

Our first goal came about thirty seconds after I thought to myself: "our ball progression is pretty good but we just have no end product".

This was, I think, the first match since Domé took over in which we haven't switched our shape up at halftime. May have had to do with the fact that, as mentioned, ORL created enough to hit the woodwork four times.

I'll gladly take the win, but what a bad game. Made an ICC game look like El Clasico.

I had a great view of the play. It looked like a clear dive as the Orlando player jumped into the air. Ring, if he would have had not gotten a yellow would have been one game from the good behavior reduction. Since he received a yellow, he is suspended for at Seattle and now is three yellow cards away from another suspension

I’d like to think he wanted to get one knowing he’d not play on a Sunday as there will be major lineup changes. He’s also playing in the All Star game on Wednesday. Since he went into the players face after the foul, I think he egged on the ref to give him a yellow.

Orlando is so super dirty, and also they dive a lot. Bad combination.

Ugly game, but never criticize a win.

Maxi is having an MVP season for us -- what a player he's been. Have to hope he's not hurt, that looked ugly.

He was trying to get a yellow through accumulation for most of the match.

I'm assuming we go:

Shradi-Berget-Matarrita
Medina
Ofori-McNamara
Sweat-Callens-Ibeagha-Tinnerholm
Johnson

? SAS for Tinny? I can't fathom Awuah starting.

If Villa is healthy, you could go with a flat 4-4-2

I’d go
lewis-Berget
Matarrita-Ish-medina-ofori-tindy
Callens-Ibeagha-channot

Or

Ish-Berget -matarrita
Medina-channot-ofori
Sweet-Callens-ineagha-tindy

Here is my take on what happened:
We played 3 games in 9 days, the players then had a 12 day break, so they rested. They came back and did training, but were still in rest-mode for the game, and then back in Seattle we'll be playing our regular game. I've noticed that this happens every single time we have such long breaks, and the Toronto win being strange because we actually played well in that one, but I think thath as to do with the fact that we had a new coach. Every other time, we come back sluggish. The MLS Schedule has got to somehow be fixed and balancing the game times.
I'm expecting Dome to give Tinny a rest, he looked tired today- but he was massive, and I think if Seattle aren't prepared defensively, he'll do what he did today: rip them apart.

I expect:
Isi - Berget - Medina
McNamara - Chanot - Ofori (Or swap ofori/chanot)
Sweat - Callens - Ibeagha - Tinnerholm (SAAS)

Almiron 8 goals 10 assists
Maxi 8 goals 11 assists

We can win 4 straight without any of our top 3 strikers starting but can we win without Maxi?
