Parking/ Tailgating So Far

Yeah, I kind of just counted on overpaying for drinks and food anyhow and I know what the Hard Rock is about. I'm not necessarily thrilled about that option, but it seemed like they have the best beer selection in the area. Kind of turned off on the idea of bars so heavily geared towards the Yankees for my soccer pre-game warm up.
Go to Dugout and then tell me if you feel like you in a baseball bar haha

Fantastic time meeting F Forever Orange last night. Pre & Post game drinks were flowing at Yankee Tavern and he even snagged Will Bruin's kit after the game. In between we hated each other's guts for 95 minutes #Football

I wish that would have been me, but we stuck to Hard Rock. By the time we parked and had a couple of beers, it was time for dinner, so we just stayed there. I was telling my girlfriend that I wanted to hit you up at Yankee Tavern, but we just got in a crunch for time. I'm glad you had fun with a Dynamo fan though and it sounds as though both of you represented your sides well. I had a great time meeting several NYCFC fans....it was a very good experience.

I am planning on attending the NYCFC match against the Revolution on July 18th (It's an away game for NYCFC). If any of y'all are planning on coming up for that one, let me know. I'll have some tailgating going on and I do not like the Revolution, so I'll be supporting NYCFC for that one.

With the Orlando game coming up next Sunday in the afternoon, I was wondering if anyone had found a good spot yet. With the 230pm start this game is perfect of some nice grillin n chillin.

Hooligans and Brown Bags Tail gated a few blocks away from YS. I don't remember the location though.

We're going to try the Harlem River Lot this time, probably get there around noon, and break out the chairs, grill and cooler.

Usually if your using a plastic cup, and aren't creating any problems, it'll be fine.

We parked in the Harlem River North Lot yesterday, and had we not gotten tied up in traffic on the cross bronx, would have had a relaxing 90 minute tailgate. It wound up being more like a rushed 45 minutes, but the dogs and wings still tasted fine. The North lot has a very easy route back onto the Deegan south, so that was a plus, it was $25 dollars as opposed to the garages 35, so again a plus. The only negative is like most everywhere associated with Yankee stadium the attendants are very rigid in where you can park, even in a wide open lot, they insisted that everyone park along one fence line. Yet we were able to bust out the grill without issue, and the walk to the stadium was okay.

Hey guys! Are we allowed to tailgate and if so are the options discussed in this thread still available?

Thank you!

I haven't done it for one of our games, although I'd love to do so. I did go to a Yankees forum, and they have a thread on tailgating, etc. Apparently, it is tolerated if you are discreet with your beverage of choice (i.e. Solo Cup and not original bottle or can). It's also better to be in a garage or lot a little farther away, so there is ample room to hang out and kick a ball around.
