I don't know if this was asked on a different thread but I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are what should be played on the Yankee Stadium sound system after every NYCFC match. With every Yankee win, or a loss, Frank Sinatra's theme of "New York, New York" is played. What should our post game anthem be?

Not up to us, and not necessarily #1 choice for this team, but they are still awesome. (Keeping it non-political)

Just to answer my own thread, so far I've heard two songs being played:

Levels - Radio Edit, Avicii
Native New Yorker, Odyssey

I still like this:

I like Empire State of Mind but feel like that's a Yankees or Nets thing. Of course, we could share it but I'd rather go in a different direction.

This is what they've been playing after a loss, but I think it should be the song after every result. And someone will be stabbed on the subway afterwards. NYC in the 1970s! Where's the coke?

As a Yankee fan I'm fine with New York, New York.... Just only play Old Frankie blue eyes' version if we win, and let Lizza Minnelli play when we tie or lose. It just doesn't feel right to enjoy Frank Sinatra after the team doesn't do well.

Yea sorry, my post wasn't as clear as I thought it was. Lizza Minnelli has her own version of New York, New York, and if the Yankees lose that's the version that I want to hear. I have heard them play Frank sinatra's version after a lose, but I never thought that it felt right listening to and enjoying his version after the Yankees put out a bad preformance or just came short of winning.

Basically let me be miserable listening to an annoying Lizza Minnelli when we under perform against a team like Chicago, or just miss out in winning against a team like the Toronto.

Frank Sinatra, win or lose. If you don't like it you can root for the Mets.

For a couple of seasons the Yanks did play the Liza Minnelli version (which was the original version of the song, but it never became a hit) after losses and reserved Sinatra's version for wins. I'm not sure why that only lasted a couple of seasons though. Maybe Minnelli wasn't happy being associated with losing and reached out to the Yankees to get that changed.
