Back in the regulations and found this, (page 36) Section C
If CONCACAF wins by default I’m not sure what’s up for discussion unless their media account went rogue

I also continue to be baffled how we aren’t hearing anything. Even a no comment or not responding would say something. The club/league suffer from not speaking to things, but I’m not sure we even have press to do the asking

Very good catch.
I have little confidence they will simply abide by that, but they should.

It's been more than 48 hours since CONCACAF made their tweet. And we haven't had a resolution yet.

This shit is getting ridiculous.

A Canadian MLS club occupying a American MLS spot is due to winning the MLS Cup which is a one season performance.

An American MLS club occupying two spots is due to multiple season performance (winning USOC or MLS Cup in 2017 and 2018), so the aggregate rule should be used there.

This is what the language meant.

ACCEPT OUR QUALIFICATION OF DECLARATION BY CONCACAF, MLS & US SOCCER!

This. For fucks sake, let a couple of us forum members sit down with MLS and explain to them, since they can’t seem to learn how to read.

Hell, this forum probably has better lawyers on it than Concacaf and MLS.

Great find! Someone needs to make a stink of this. I agree, it’s Crazy nothing has been said by anybody. May even call into a Sirius radio show for the first time. I’m that annoyed.

Watching the 3rd place consolation match for FCWC right now and thinking how cool it would be for NYCFC to play in this thing in 2 years. But considering our league schedule, would we not have half the team under contract for the tournament?

MLS Season - Spring to Winter 2018
CCL - Winter to Spring 2019
FIFA CWC - Winter 2019

Yeah, unlikely to have the same team at all.

With the subway service? Not sure this is the thread for it, but a group of engineers (same ones who recommended project like east side access) has put forth the idea of shutting down the subway between the hours of 1am - 5:30am. That way they can make repairs over the next decade that would be impossible otherwise. If not, the whole system may eventually need to shut down completely for repair within 20 years or so. There will still be bus service.

Yeah, will they actually make repairs though? Or pocket the savings?
