We’ve played 3 of our more difficult away games to start the season and we’ve gotten 7 points from them, without David Villa and Alex Ring for two of them. Shows how great PV is but also the great job the front office has done.

Maxi is living up to his DP billing. Needed him to finish in stoppage time though.

Tinny is the best outside back in MLS. Ever.

Was a big fan of SAS tonight. Thought he was excellent in every aspect. Imagine that we got him for Khiry Shelton

Thought Ofori was much better tonight. He reminds me a ton of Michael Bradley actually. Not a Ring style player even if they play similar positions.

Can’t say enough about Sean Johnson.

- Maxi is earning his DP money this season
- Ofori looked more comfortable than last game and seems very promising
- Medina's got some serious skills but beating guys 1:1 is not in his tool kit yet which is fine because his movement and passing are both amazing
- Even with a few botched chances Berget is a fine backup for Villa, high work rate, wins stuff in the air, does not have the right skills the play the wing.
- Tinn is amazing
- Still feels like Herrera has another level, if he can find it we will be really hard to beat
- Isi is killing it, will be interesting to see if teams start to key in on him

Even still, we stole a draw and win we shouldn’t have. Positive signs early in the season.

I agree, but I’m not gonna get excited yet because I’m sure we will have a few matches we draw where we should have gotten 3 points. Everything balances out

I can’t remember which player was involved, but there was a play early in the second half when our guy tried to pass/push the ball into the left side of the box and I’d swear a SJ player knocked it down with his hand - it didn’t look deliberate, but it definitely changed the trajectory completely. Was surprised VAR wasn’t used there. Was also surprised VAR wasn’t used when Maxi went down in the box; may not have been deliberate, but Maxi had position and knees knocking knees still impeded his ability to play the ball.

Love your post, except for this.

Berget is just so one dimensional. I just don't know what that dimension is .for me, Isi would be a better back up for Villa. Or Medina.

Mls may just be at a point where a berget is only a last gasp sub.

I'm not totally giving up on him. But it's close-ish.
