Scottish Football

Well, Dundee United now ever closer to relegation. In the latest of our "must win" games we went down tamely 3-1 at home to the team third from bottom. No fight, no spirit, no direction, manager completely lost the dressing room, it's totally grim.

We have had so many "must win" games that now we are literally in the position where we "must win" every single remaining game and hope the team above us doesn't pick up a single point.

We could be relegated by our local rivals Dundee, at their ground, in our next game which pretty much sums up our season.

Oh and the great manager that started this off, Sackie Sacknamara, moved on to York City and they just got relegated, so well done Sackie, relegating two teams in one season...

POTY, MOTY and Goal of the season for Wallace, Warburton and Mckay v Celtic in rangers favour tonight at PFA Scotland awards.

Finished the season poorly after a fantastic week of winnign the league, winning the petrofac, and beating celtic. Two draws and two defeats.

The kids play the last home game and the captain concedes a goal by kicking the ball in to his own face.

So the season is over, Rangers finish with a double, after being beaten by Hibs in a thrilling encounter in the scottish cup final.

However there were shocking scenes at the end as thousands of hibs fans poured onto the pitch to celebrate their first win in 114 years, but many chose to instead, either attempt to attack the rangers end, or, in the worst news, attack the rangers squad. All 11 players were assaulted in some manner (some more serious than other) as well as various staff including assistant davie weir. My words for Hibs would probably get me banned and they better hope they arent playing in glasgow for a long time, the rangers fans will definitely carry out revenge attacks.

All in all spoiled their big day and the SFA, Police Scotland etc have to answer to this. Rangers have released a coupel of statements shaming the scum involved.

Looking forward to next season, four teams with decent managers all going for the title, Rangers Celtic Hearts Aberdeen. Most exciting season in quite a while methinks anyway.

Looks like after a trial Rangers might be signing Oguchi Onyewu . Not sure what to think NYC passed on him last year and he's been injury prone and is 34...

Also on Yanks in Scotland did not realize Perry Kitchen (Formerly of DC United) has been with Hearts since March.

CFG brought him in. Kreis passed on him. I wonder what PV would have done with the Gooch on trial with us....

Beat me to it. Sadly I'm sure they'll beat them by a few in Scotland and go through but I'll laugh at it for today.

Kolo Toure signed for the mankys today, looks like scott sinclair may join him at the savilledome. SPL will be good this year. Rangers have made some brilliant signings and have made a great start to the season and are top of the league cup group with three wins from three, seven scored 0 conceded, last game tomorrow night at ibrox.

Kranjcar - looks a cut above anyone else fromwhat ive seen and he isnt even fully fit
Barton - only seen about 30 mins of him. Looked decent enough but we had about 90% of the ball that day.
Joe Dodoo - again only featured for 30 mins but scored and looked quick, strong and dangerous
Josh Windass - Looks outstanding, brilliant prospect, skillful, direct, quick and can finish.
Clint Hill - Looked solid enough at the back for an OAP like him.
Matt Gilks - not had much to do in the two games he's played, looked solid enough though.
Lee Hodson - Looks like good competition for Tav and wallace.

Jordan Rossiter - Yet to join up with the squad after captaining the england U19s to the Euro semi's
Matt Crooks - Injured for another couple of weeks.

Rossiter finally played. Looked very solid IMO.

Hard to believe Krajcar was playing here for the Cosmos briefly. Clearly above that level would do fine in MLS.

Might be going to Scotland for the first time in October. Edinburgh/Glasgow might need to pick some of you Scots brains for advice if you don't mind.

Is your avatar now the White Wolf??? King of the North!

TWFDUFC hero keeper Cammy Bell saved three penalties from three different takers in the first half of our last game against Dunfermline. Allegedly a world record (saving 3 in one half) but not recognized by Guiness because we don't play in the top league. Booo. but anyway:

Scotland are off to a start that is even bad by our standards in our traditional "lack of qualifying for an international tournament"

How bad are we? We just lost 3-0 to Slovakia and ADAM FUCKING NEMEC scored against us...

Looking like we may struggle to qualify from a group that involves us, England, Lithuania, Slovenia, Slovakia and Malta.

Dundee United won the much coveted Inconsequential Diddy Cup For Lower League Nobodies!!

Nemec's scoring rate for his NT is further proof Kreis did not know how to use him.
