Serie A 2018/2019

What's the biggest impact moves this year?

As much as I hate to see Leo go, Douglas Costa and Bernardeschi on the wings makes me salivate and move on. Also, Dybala will flourish in an attack system.

Hard to think anyone will challenge them still for the scudetto.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. I think we may see some better play from teams down table with some of the moves but ultimately hard to see Juve not winning again.

This is napolis year. We came damn close last year. If we didn't have that small stint when milik got hurt and we had to learn to adjust the scudetto was ours

Wasn't it supposed to be Napolis year for the last two years too? They have the talent...but they can seem to put it all together.

my credit card is ready

I know. I actually wrote to the club and asked when the online store would be ready and no response. They need to get the merch available asap. The honeymoon window will close and fast if they're not careful.

I just hope they limit the yellow to the trim cause historically their jerseys have been terrible.

i have a thing for terrible jerseys though

whats your connection?

My family is from Benevento province. Father was born in a small town near there and I've actually been to Benevento. I was in his home town as recently as last year. As a dual citizen, I'm actually registered there as an Italian residing abroad. So, while it's not the same as NY/NJ where I was born and raised, in a manner of speaking, that town/Benevento province is my other hometown. So, there is some legitimate connection.

My dad's from Palermo, i don't know how that helps this situation but yea.

I have family in Palermo. I lived between Trapani & San Vito Lo Capo for a bit growing up for family business. Still support Palermo...the have had their troubles since the Luca Toni days, but Paulo Dybala and Franco Vazquez brought them back from dead. Too bad they couldn't keep them.

It was hard to not become a Juventus fan growing up. It was either them, Inter or AC. They just always had the players I liked and would put money back into the club.

The only other rooting interest I have is in AC as my cousin plays for them and has with the national team, but I don't support the team. Unfortunately, due to some shitty family drama after some elder deaths, we do not speak at all with them, but I still follow his career closely.

In some way, shape or form, the historic owners of those teams have employed half the country. Not being a fan of one of those teams would have been a sin in some families.

As for your own, I hope things improve. Life is just too short.

Palermo's a mess right now. they don't have much talent going around and they don't have experience to help the situation except for diamanti...
