So much for FC Edmonton joining the CPL, I guess.

I'm not sure what the timeframe is supposed to be on the CPL, but I can't help feeling that like the NASL it's getting closer and closer to being dead in the water based on a lack of firm interest from enough parties.

CPL should be 2019. So it's possible that FC Edmonton could come back.

as long as they have interest in Canada thats what matters.....allegedly they got a few CFL owners backing and if anything it was going to start in 2019 anyway....they have to have something....cant rely on MLS to get their domestic talent going.

Indy Eleven heading to USL as well. I just don’t see how NASL survives now.
