Celtic lose their undefeated season early this time falling 1-0 to Hearts. Think we might actually have something approximating a title race this year.

That’s great news! Shout out to the Brodge.

Unlike pretty much everyone else who feigns an interest in Scottish football, my heart’s soft spot is for Rangers. And now that Stevie G is there and they’ve effectively become 13th grade for Melwood students, I’m fully in.

Interesting to see Emo Hyndman at Hibs. I enjoyed watching him at Rangers before. Too bad he couldn’t get that same switch now. It would have been great for him to spend some time working with an attacking midfielder of Gerrard’s pedigree.

I thought at least one other person on here said they at least sort of liked Rangers at one point. I know we probably have more Celtic fans and we should likely stay away from the politics. I'm neither Protestant or Catholic myself so that doesn't play into it for me. I started following Rangers in the mid /late 90's because they had players like Gazza, Brian Laudrup and Ally Mccoist. I also quite liked some of their strips of the era including one that was virtually the same as France's Euro 96 kit. Add to that the fact that they've had a half dozen American players at that time span and they cemented their place as one of my top Euro clubs to follow.

I never disliked Stevie G but I was probably close to indifferent to him prior to his taking the manager's job he's very quickly winning me over so far.

    BUMP:

Ref for Rangers - St Mirren is a ex St Mirren player. Seems hard to believe that's allowed. Rangers up 2-0 at the half but down to 1o men again and some questionable yellow or non yellows so far.
