transmitter brewing, holy crap i love this companies marketing. the subtle handwritten notes on the labels feel like something i'd find in my grandfather's cellar. he passed before i was born but the dude tinkered and saved all his stuff and i used to love rummaging around down there when I would visit my grandma in the bronx. I like beer but ill admit I don't do enough sampling of the local craft brewer. I might just order a case to give it a try. but damn they have so many varieties, don't think I'd even scratch the surface.

I'd recommend a visit to the brewery for anyone that likes craft beer and hasn't been there. It's maybe a 5 min walk from the hunters point station. Tiny place but they typically have 3-4 beers available for a free tasting. Almost every time I've gone at least one of the two owners is there either working on brewing or talking to customers. Really nice guys worth supporting and they brew some very interesting different beers. They exclusively brew wild/farmhouse style beers which isn't for everyone but worth a try. They cultivate their own wild yeast strains and it's truly impressive the wide variety of flavors they can produce with them.

I had a subscription from Transmitter for a while because I wanted to support a local Queens place and they were my favorites after I tried a bunch, including Finback, Big Alice, and SingleCut. I only dropped it because I couldn't keep up. I don't really drink that much at home. But I highly recommend it.

Same, their CSB subscription is a good deal but it gets hard to keep up with after a while.

Since I just copped to not really doing the latter, I guess I should limit myself to recommending the former.

I was gonna ask if anyone knows if dogs are welcome, but on the side i just wanted to check google maps to see if i ever passed by the place and wouldn't you know it they have a tie line for dogs. I might just check this place out the next (semi-)warm weekend after taking the pup out to run.

Yeah that's one of the owners dog's that always there with him. The place is about a laid back as it can get, doubt they would have any issue with you bringing your dog along.
