So my rep called me out of the blue (I have been emailing her early in the year about what a shitshow stubhub has been and she was ghosting me) and asked me how the seasons been, so i ripped into her how i have no reason to renew now that i cant sell anything. And she goes 'sooooo you are probably not renewing, but stadium news would probably firm up the market right? would a stadium announcement before renewals change your mind?'

So there is that little leading tidbit. Maybe somethings coming soon. Sounded eager to get news out before renewal time.
This is promising since the reps are the last to know and their script is generally much more generic.

I get the impression both GAL and Willets are in play, with some political factions for each (and opposition as well I’m sure). As good a position as we’ve been in.

I'm curious to see what Diana Ayala's reaction will be to this. She doesn't come off as the person who might use this as an opportunity to self-promote and look to create a springboard to the next office, so I wonder if she'll be fine with going along with it as long as they can show an acceptable amount of affordable housing/community investment - at least enough to placate the folks who are still angry about the way the Yankee Stadium project unfolded.

Sorry, but I read that situation differently... More like, soooooooooo would now be a perfect time to throw all you angered season ticket holders a crumb to appease you and lead you on just long enough for you to renew your season tickets again so we can have your money for another year until we lead you on again... should we say this same time next year? It's a date.

Nah. Something is actually behind it. As Dnigly13 said, he had a source like 3 months ago that the GAL site was going to be resolved.

He’s not talking shit. He literally told me and told me who told him.
