I’m probably looking into this too much but this subliminal messaging in the 2019 renewal email......View attachment 9054

I made the same point in the 2019 Season Ticket Thread. All threads lead to the stadium thread.

I guess to save on construction cost due to the price of the land, they're going to ask City Members to help build the stadium as volunteer work.

Anyone else get the invite to the focus group about a new stadium on September 11? Anyone else going?
Also want to add- notice the date is picked for September 11th. That's 4 days before the STH opt-out ends. It has to be on purpose.

I was about to go on a rant how I've seen all these stadiums and can provide all this insight...

Then checked my email and saw I was invited.
I was not invited, but man I wish I was. I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled the world and been to the last two world cups and the euros in France, and definitely had some thoughts on how we could make a stadium that lasts, even if it’s a third of the size of a European or fifa stadium. Plus I’ve been to tons of other sports venues around the country.

Oh well.

I never get invited to shit. But that’s cool. They are about to be invited to way less Midas money next year any way.
I could reread all 708 pages but if you’d like to drop down some bullet points of things in a stadium you’d like to see to have or not have.

For me to get invited to a symposium or some shit. That’s what I would like. Then I could tell them directly.

Apparently being an early spender isn’t very important. Not a surprise.

Our club is misguided and out of touch with every decision.

If you complain about something you get invited. I bitched about legends and. Next thing you I got my first invite.

I’ve had a boatload of free ones this year. 8 to be exact.

But it’s only because they fucked me on the pricing.

And supporting what others have said, once they take your money, even well in advance of the event, you get no credit whatsoever for downgrading to escape the handicap they themselves inflicted.

Say Hey supporter section tix. The rest of all can fuck right off.

Discussion point

variable pricing:

Good, bad or neutral?
It’s bullshit because we’re at the mercy of both the Yankees’ schedule and TV, so we could end up with an inordinate number of midweek (cheap) matches.
