They have inflated the face value of the games you are likely to attend, which helps them get a little more from single-game ticket buyers. They have deflated the face value of the games you are less likely to attend, which can only serve to put further pressure on the resale prices.

Are you unaware the variable pricing for single game tickets has been in effect since 2016? Check the Ticketmaster prices for some of the remaining games this season in the same section. They're not uniform. This change only affects the bookkeeping of STH pricing.

So they are already capturing extra $$ from single ticket buyers for the big games, and getting less for the less popular games. Both of these should help keep the primary marketplace more in line STH sellers on the secondary market.

Is that true? I had no idea.

So this is completely meaningless. It that's the case, why do you think the insulation number they tell us the seat "cost" makes any difference at all (other than to collect extra money from us if we want to trade from a B game to an A game).

With the market cleaning price so far below face, I don't understand why you think this helps at all.

My hope is that with so many STHs dropping, the StubHub supply will be much lower, easing some of the downward pressure.

What if they secretly have the stadium built somewhere in the middle of nowhere and plan to just plop it down real quick overnight while no one is looking and announce it the next day?

Already been discussed earlier in the thread. We figured it would have to be brought in pieces by truck and re-assembled. Ulrich Ulrich had all the logistics figured out.
