Fan of the song but Springsteen is from Jersey like our "rivals" and I don't know how I feel about singing a song about a reaction to 9/11 at a soccer game.

The things that make it great are the things that could make it hard to use. It is a song about the strength and resilience of the City is of worst time. That can be either powerful or really horrible.

How about New York Groove? Just the chorus. It's easy, everybody knows it, it's half chant/half song, it has clapping, the works.
