U.S. Open Cup 2017

All MLs players have to sign MLS contracts, because they become players employed by the league assigned to a team instead of players employed by the team. Therefore, these players will either sign the contract given to them, or they walk away with whatever stipulation is in their NASL-style contract regarding termination on the part of the club - probably the balance of their contract unless not guaranteed.
An overwhelming majority of NASL players are on one year contracts.

I'll be at the Miami/Cincy match.

It's so hot and humid down here that you're in a FULL SWEAT within 20 seconds of stepping outside.

Got my tickets for tonight.

Not only is it BALLS hot here every day, we've also been getting massive thunderstorms every afternoon and evening.

I actually got trapped in South Beach last night because of flooding.

Drinking and partying on a proverbial school night???

I started drinking because I got trapped in the flood.

At 3:00 it was coming down in buckets.
I can think of many worse places to be trapped during a flood. Fun drinks and good seafood all for an unreasonably high price. Hopefully you got a cheap room for the night and could crash afterwards.

A lot of us fans left the stadium shaking our heads tonight. Even though Miami got outplayed for most of the night, we could have snuck into penalty kicks if Poku didn't choke.

It's sounds harsh. But he choked. It looked to me like he took an extra (unnecessary) dribble.

I guess he was looking for a shot with a 99.9% probability instead of taking the shot that he makes 75% of the time. It proved to be a very costly decision.

It was BALLS hot there but at least the rain and lightning stayed away.

FC Cincy had a supporters section about 100 people strong.

I guess it's not possible to make an incredible run and then choke.

He was probably exhausted after a long game. I get that. I'd like to watch the replay a few times to get a better feel for this.

I was just saying it was harsh. He created the opportunity out of nothing. Did he choke at the end? That is, did he sense the pressure of the moment and let his nerves undermine his play? I don't think so - I think it was still a difficult finish. But, even if it was a choke, it is harsh to jump on him for it without acknowledging the run that preceded the shot.

Getting to the point where he could shoot was much harder than the finish, and I don't think the finish was that easy.

Red Bulls win at Cincinnati?

MITCH SAYS NO!
Really hope Dick & Douche fly out for the match. Let them try their shtick in Ohio - they won't make it out of the parking lot. Ohio sports fans don't take kindly to their form of obnoxious behavior.

I really feel bad for any patients scheduled to see them this morning.
