UCL 17/18 Knockout Rounds (Draw and Matches)

Was that one worse than caroming the ball off of Benzema into his own goal?

Honestly, I feel like that first howler combined with the shock of losing Salah just totally spun the reds.
Shock? I agree that karius was shit. But the ref letting Madrid do what He did decided the match at the 10th minute.

I honestly can’t take reals trophy count serious. It’s at least 50% bought &/or bullshit.

Enjoy,”madridistas”. Until tomorrow when you like Barca again. Lol. What a dookie club. Give me the reds everytime.

ETA a: would also take everyone. Or MCFC.

it’s a matter of honor. Spanish twats just don’t have it. In any way. They are gutless. Diving. Cheating. Shit birds.

Fuck them.

What a great game. Bale's finishing was sublime, and Karius's mistake was like from a Sunday league game. Baffling how Liverpool got this far, as there were so many good sides in the competition.

What pissed me off about Karius is he gave up on the play and started appealing to the ref before the ball was in the goal. Sure, he probably never reaches it, but when you make that mistake your first instinct has to be to fix it, not hope the gods wipe it out.

If UEFA had VAR, do we think that goal gets overturned due to Benzema being a bit offside when the initial shot was taken?

Probably not.

Wonder if Ramos would have been sent off? It was a blatant attempt to injure that successfully took the best Liverpool player off the field.

There’s an equally bad (maybe worse?) incident where he intentionally elbowed Loris in the head. The refs missed it. Twitter did not. Clear red on review.

He’s a mean SoB. I used to like him, but admittedly have never closely watched him play, and after today I have zero respect for him. He had a shit eating grin on his face after the Salah takedown - he was proud of himself for delivering the outcome so early in the match.

What’s interesting is the elbow took place 2min before the first mistake. Wonder if Loris was concussed??? That would explain his howlers.

Still not so sure the ramos salah injury was intentional. However if it was salah started the dirty play by hooking Ramos first. If anything Ramos countered with a dirtier play. If you want to get into a dirty play war with Ramos you will lose every time.
