UCL 17/18 Knockout Rounds (Draw and Matches)

Doesnt matter... the last time a city player touched the ball was off the cross well before and he was onside... so you want to say the goalie punching it was a deflection and the milner touch was also a deflection you still have to go ALLLLL the way back to KDB's cross. And this is coming from someone who didnt have a horse in the race and didnt care who won. I understand the rules youre saying but they dont apply.

at the end of the day they won both and we’re the better team.
What's the aggregate score on the year now? City 9, LFC 9. Pretty wild.

Btw - this is why I said I disagreed with you earlier that City didn't have to be as "on" as everyone else.

When you play like City and LFC, it's always a highwire act. City were just absolutely dead on all the time (and getting the breaks) for most of the year.

Look at any great attacking team, and they seemingly all have spells where shit goes sideways for them. That's what I don't have an answer for, frankly. Other than to say, it's a cruel game.

I'd argue you don't.

The only explanation that makes sense to me is that they thought that Jesus got the ball instead of Milner.

i agree... i think this is what happened. and unfortunately the refs dont have luxury of replays like we do. Thats what i thought watching it live as well. I was actually making the argument in a side chat that it was offside and i ended up proving myself wrong.

he must be off when the ball is played in not when he receives it... and you're saying i dont know the rules... KDB's cross was the last time a city player touched the ball. Deflections be damned.
Honestly, even if you're totally right, I totally CBA. Going to make myself a flat bread pizza to celebrate since I'm fat.

Auto corrected were to we’re. I intended to say ‘they were the better team.’ Not sure why the ‘ was added.

Can we also just say that Ederson is utter dog shit as an actual keeper?

Go back and look at leg 1 in the tunnel. Dude looks like he’s got a soft brick in his drawers already. He just isn’t good enough as a shot stopper. Would be a very good #6.
