Bedoya is part of the USSoccer fraternity, not sure how he ever got the tap up, but once in it's almost impossible to keep a player out no matter how bad their form is. He's the Grabavoy of the MNT.

Yeah, Bedoya over Benny is one of the great head scratchers.... although supposedly it's because Benny is a cocky ass and not the best "team player." Benny was great in his few WC appearances as a calming presence in the middle that could relieve pressure and slice a killer pass.
