View From Your Seat

Have any of the denizens of Poku's Porch posted photos in the thread? I can't remember the section number and don't want to tab through every page...

This is the View from 226 (surprise). Central and high enough to see the whole field well but, alas, far from the field since we play in a baseball stadium.

Yes, this stadium setup is odd. No great seats - lots of good seats. I personally like my spot in the corner, because I am right on top of the field vs. a midfield location that is farther back.

I put these in the thread for the Toronto game but reposting here because that's where people will look for them:
These are unzoomed iPhone shots which is slightly wide angle making things seem just a bit further away than human eye.

Thanks for posting this. I was trying to figure out where Batter's Eye was last week and having a hard time. I guess it's lower down than the map implies? (http://www.nycfc.com/tickets/pricing)

Yes the map does it a disservice. I'm annoyed because the map on the official ticket exchange is even worse, and makes it look like the seats are very high and far back, like on top of the subway or something. Even worse, listed tickets don't show up on the map, only in the actual list, so they will never, ever sell.

But more to your point, they hang right above the Mohegan Sun club. We are about level with the front row of the 200 section seats, I think.

Damn I wanna sit in the Batter's eye seats. Is it weird since it's only a few people?
