Part of me didn't want to make a thread about these guys, but after their behavior at Yankee Stadium against Philly and at RBA last night, it's getting out of hand.

If you're not sure who these guys are, here's LionNYC LionNYC first-hand account from the Philly game on 6/3/17:

My first post is not going to be about the game. It's going to be about something off the field that stood out as the lowlight of the season. If you know who I am in real life, or at least on Twitter, I posted this publicly. Because for it to happen is irresponsible.

Vince and Vance Moss, surgeons who live in New Jersey and served in our military. They are also public in MLS circles as Red Bull fans and more notably as arrogant ones. See last year, them getting in the face of Didier Drogba...

These two individuals have a history of accosting opposing players and coaches.

They were in attendance today. I noticed them in the Legends suite sitting with another Pitchside season ticket holder who I've seen at many games in the past. Based on this, I'd say that they were invited by this individual. They were dressed in sport coats and wearing Philadelphia Union scarves. As an NYCFC fan, I would never wear the scarf of another team to a match.

Before the game, Jim Curtin comes over to the NYCFC side of the field and shakes their hand. Does Curtin know who they really are? I can't answer that. But they were rooting for the Union and wearing Union scarves, so there's that.

They're fine during the course of the game, not making any scenes.

Then comes the Union goal. One of the brothers, I cannot tell which one, leaves PS1 which is the one closer to the corner flag and makes his way, Union scarf above his head, toward PS2 in the direction of the NYCFC bench. He gets as close as he can to Vieira and starts saying some language and in a manner that would "cross the line". Vieira turns around and responds with some kind language himself. Moss continues to accost Vieira and Vieira steps over the video boards. They are face to face as the NYCFC and Yankee Stadium security come to separate them. Nothing gets physical. Patrick goes back to the NYCFC bench, the Moss brothers goes back to his seat with Yankee Stadium security nearby him.

Vieira is likely to see a suspension, maybe multiple games, for leaving the bench/tactical area and entering a fan section.

Though, these brothers have a history and continually create a hostile environment where some worse can happen if escalated. And this continued behavior by them needs to be addressed by the league office. You can't have fans like them continued to be allowed to accost players in the manner in which they do.

After we scored the first goal, Vieira had his fist in the air and looked right at these guys. After the game, same thing. Vieira and Curtin spoke after the game, and I think Vieira said something to Jim about these guys. Jim Curtin then went back over to these guys after the game and said something.

I get angry, I get heated at referees and opposing players and coaches. But I never swear, never accost, never get into confrontation. It's sporting fun and in good taste. "Do your job" to referees. "Sit down" to opposing coaches. "Never forget 2014" to Wondo.

They create hostile environments, are aggressors, and agitators. I would ban these individuals from all MLS stadiums, games, and events.

As Drogba said in the article, these guys needs to be more respectful or in my opinion never be allowed to come to an MLS game again.

Then here's what happened at the US Open Cup game at RBA last night:

After listening to the BlueCityRadio podcast last week, I was reminded about how they were in the Behind the Scenes video when NYCFC was at RBA last year:

At around 9:08, you can start to hear them taunting NYCFC:

Please, please supply with all the cheer, jeers, chants, and insults you want me to sling there way and Red Bulls when I'm sitting next to them for the 6/24 game. I want an Encyclopedia Britannia amount of trash talk.

And I want them banned from all MLS stadiums.

Absolutley right. We don't the high ground when is still going on.
I cannot remember: did NYCFC take action against the chair vandals at Orlando? I would presume they did if their identity is known, but I cannot remember or find anything on point. People were arrested for fighting outside, and TR lodged a protest that security was poor. But this went down the memory hole, except for the bard fact it ahppened (or was just alleged - I can't even be certain if it was confirmed).

These two are complete douche bags. I doubt that even RB fans like these guys. I saw them try to approach our section and ran over to them as fast as I could. Security turned them away but it was quite interesting seeing them suddenly lose their hearing when I was barking at them. Fuck these dudes.

Also, as several of you have stated; whatever complaints we have are likely to be negated by other occurrences.

outside the arrests i dont know if anything happened from our end.....we didnt even get sanctions for away games from those incidents in orlando

I know this will be an unpopular solution but we should be banned from away matches. If we're punished as a whole maybe then we'll care enough to weed out the troublemakers

I'm not sure this is the correct solution but I'm on board with some large scale action. The FO and fans need to get ahead of this and make it clear these imbeciles don't represent us and are not welcome.

A formal apology from the FO would be a good start.

I think this is our responsibility as supporters to take action. If we see someone while leaving the stadium holding a chair, WE go to security or the police and point them out. If we see someone graffiti a building, take a picture and show it to security or the police.

They are hiding amungst us, they blend in with the true supporters. That's disgraceful.

No one will believe us when we say, 'we take it seriously' until we are the cause of the resolution.

Eh. I'm probably not your guy.

If you saw the news and saw anything about the black SUV that ran down someone on the sidewalk, I was one of the two true to life witnesses. (That was an accident, actually, at least from my perspective.)

I left and didn't go to the cops until 5 hours later when I walked back by the same place and there were a dozen or more cops and my whole block was taped off. It's not in my nature to insert myself.

That being said, I would say something to the person actually doing it. But I sat with the supporters at Cosmos. At that point, I knew I'd never do it again. I have too much of a self-preservation instinct to be around the 1% who act like utter idiots. Probably improved by now, but I won't ever find out. And obviously not enough that it's even worth a try.

That's like the dumbest shit I've ever heard to steal a chair. If I were to steal a seat, it'd be from my own team for a souvenir. Not to recall the scenes of my club getting beaten yet again.

Btw, here's a pic I took when I went to talk to the detective. I happen to live nearby.

With regards to the Moss idiots I don't think we can control what those redbull asshats do but if the brothers are ever allowed into YS or any NYCFC stadium ever again I'm going to take it as a statement that the team values money over the fans, the team and the coaching staff. Can't imagine many things that would anger me to the point that I'd consider questioning my loyalty to this club but this is one of them.

My man, you are a complete enigma to me. And I say that with the best of intentions and genuine fascination.
