Westchester County Supporters

Sure I can leave it to people to suggest sections prior to me creating them.
You want one for each of those?

Nah I think you can just group those 3 together. I doubt there will be THAT many people that each will need their own.

Would it make sense to even do something like one for each of the boros, westchester, LI, Jersey, etc.?

as the demand presents itself we can do it. there hasn't been much ongoing discussion between the individual boro's.

Buckley Buckley You can't just be claiming Putnam... It's on MY side of the river! LOL. I'm sure Westchester as a whole will pick up into a big group, but I'm thinking we should call it Hudson Valley and include all of us who are "upstate"

upstate... sigh. City people... smh.

If buckley is cool with that NYCFC_Dan NYCFC_Dan , change the name of Westchester to Hudson Valley at least until we grow and then branch off.

Hudson Valley is definitely more suited for the region.

Before I was smart enough to realize that Hudson Valley is the word to use, but even thats wrong because it doesn't include E EmmaRL Nick Chavez Nick Chavez and anyone else from the Nutmeg State.

So when should we do a meet-up? We could try out Brazen Fox as our bar since White Plains is as convenient as any place in Westchester. We could watch some MLS or something there on some weekend.

BigRed, I'll be at Brazen Fox for the entire World Cup, I know that much. If I can't get seats for USA-Turkey, I'll be there for that one too. I'd love to meet up with some Hudson Valley folks though just so we can build some friendships and stuff.

Thanks for lookin' out, and the 203 will def be a big part of the fanbase, especially as the club grows in stature, but I don't mind if the name of the supporter's group is NYC-focused since it is a NYC club. We in CT are used to being fans of NYC teams without getting much recognition, so it's all good, I wouldn't get to caught up in that. If anything, maybe we can have a division/nickname for the CT and Westchester factions in the supporters' group, under the same NYC SG umbrella.

Everyone (except for Section1Guy Section1Guy ) still forgets Dutchess County..home of the best High School soccer in all of NYS :p

As for the "upstate debate..as far as im concerned, if Metro North services your town...you're not upstate...anyone north of Poughkeepsie is SOL...

Why not just call yourself "Northbound" or something like that..

A live a good 10 minutes away from the nearest train to get straight to Yankee stadium, so having the games there is perfect. Its all like a dream come true! Westchester will be supporting heavily hopefully!!!
