So, after taking a look at the Eastern & Western Conference tables, here's how things stand at the end of Match Week 22. Rankings are based on Maximum Possible Points for the season. These point totals can't be exceeded; they can only be reduced by a draw or a loss.

Eastern Conference
1) 74 - NY Red Bulls
2) 72 - Montreal
3) 71 - DC United
4) 70 - Toronto
5) 64 - Columbus
6) 63 - Orlando
7) 61 - Chicago
8) 61 - New England
9) 60 - NYCFC
10)55 - Philadelphia

Western Conference
1) 76 - Sporting Kansas City
2) 74 - FC Dallas
3) 72 - Vancouver
4) 67 - LA Galaxy
5) 66 - Portland
6) 65 - San Jose
7) 65 - Seattle

Just a brief note.
In transcribing my hand calculations to a spreadsheet, I discovered an error with regards to Sporting Kansas City. Somewhere along the way, I dropped some points. That has now been corrected and SKC moved from #7 to #1. Pretty sizeable error, huh! I made an edit to the original post reflecting this change.

Regardless, it's all in Excel and should be reasonably reliable going forward.

Hopefully, we don't turn into the Chicago Cubs of MLS
