Why? Against Philly, I thought he had his best match as far as combining. I would love for him to score 25.Midas Mulligan is not going to like that Nemec is winning this poll
If we were better in other spots, he'd be much more useful.
I don't think it's coincidence that our attack and Nemec looks better without Villa. The problem is that without Villa, we have no one that could be described as clinical. Or even competent.
If Nemec finds a beast mode button, he could help us out a lot. I think he should try to score more rather than spend all of his time trying to invent the position of a back-to-goal attacking wide-central defensive mid, and one who only plays with his head and chest, at that.
I'm tempted to say Nemec will bag 2 tonight, but that's all but assuring my usual "kiss of death" predictions will hit him like a ton of bricks.
