They'd still be in 4th place with a point. But it sure helps Dallas next match.
Yeah, rough game for the Sounders. They had a chance to clinch and move 2 points clear of RSL for 4th place and a home game. They're still 4 points above the red line with 2 games to play, so I think they are pretty safe.
This game also affects the SS race - perhaps even more. Seattle is going to travel to Dallas without Alonso (red card) and maybe without Ivanschitz (knee sprain). Seems a lot more likely now that Dallas will take those 3 points.
