2017 Relocation Thread

I moved from 126 row 8 to 105 row 6 on the aisle. I mostly sit in 12 and got killed last year on resale, so I wanted something less expensive.

Any thoughts on 105? Was worried that the benches and pitchside seats would block the view, but Julie assured me it was not an obstructed view.

Anyone know how visible the scoreboard is from there?
never sat there but it's one of the sections I was looking at, I think you'll have a solid view from there

What row are you? With around row 6 or higher you have a nice viewing angle. (at least in 103). Have to look over your shoulder for the scoreboard, but should be able to see it.

Nothing worth moving for for me, so I stayed put! I'll keep checking periodically but i'm think i'm staying put. They either had a really good renewal rate this season or they had a lot of people in the construction impacted seating that got moved to the queue.

Existing seats are S222, R7. 222 is the best Delta section for view. I was only interested in moving down within that section, or to a front row, for which I would move up to 1 or 2 sections over at most. VV showed nothing but the rep who walked me through said he saw 2 open seats in the front row 2 sections over. Bonus: aisle also. So I moved, now 221A, Row 1.

they had 1 row in front of me, but it was a group of 3. And I can't take two seats and leave one open. What an infuriating policy.

Okay, it seems like there is more inventory now then there was at 11 15. I moved from 205 row 3 to section 131 row 11 seats 1 and 2. I haven't sat on that side of the stadium so for now it's all good.

Not an uncommon (or in my mind, unreasonable) policy. I ended up going from 2 to 3 last season, and it worked out really well with a rotating cast of friends.

I'm officially in 234 for next season.
I thought you were moving from the city because of your better half needing to do a residency? Is the residency in a NYC hospital?

I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Right now I'm in the hopes that we stay in NYC, and I'll be here until late May regardless. If I have to sell my season tickets from that point on because I'm not there then so be it. I'll at least keep one so I can get my name on that damn stadium.

He only let her apply to Lincoln Medical Center.

I've never had an issue reselling my 234 tix at face value when I couldn't make a game

They called five minutes early, I stayed in my same seats as there were no equivalent aisle seats open. 224, row 19. Updating my forum sig momentarily.

My wife is a doctor, and early in our marriage, she was able to match in NYC. It's one of the benefits of being here. Lots of possible residencies. Hope you guys have similar good fortune.

Just got off the phone and got very close to what I wanted. Moving to Section 205. Near the Coop. Row 3.

I was able to move from section 205 row 8 to 104 row 6 on the aisle. Approximately a $10 step up per game but much closer to the field. I liked 205 and being near the chicken people but if I'm going to bake in the sun on occasion I would rather do it down low. 205 sun was brutal in July/Aug.

Yes, that's why I moved from 205, the sun is directly in your face. I never wished for cloud cover during a game before.
