Josef Martinez is a bad ass player. I've watched him in Serie A. Guy is fast and direct. His finishing needs a little more work, but MLS defense is not on par. Josef will be a top 5 goal scorer in his first year unless injury. Mark it down. It boggles my mind that if we wanted a player like Maxi, why we didn't go after him.

Who are Dustyn & Anne Marie? Is she Orlando's local coverage?

And RB has too many supporters on that list. They are on short rest & coming off a loss, lost Veron to injury, and have two long flights this week sitting on their legs. They are ripe to get gashed by Atlanta.

Anyone else having trouble with the MLS app? I click on it and it says that an update is available and auto directs me to the App Store which then doesn't provide an update option and only allows me to open again the app, which continues for an endless loop. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Works for me - I updated it yesterday or the day before.

Mine updated last night and it was wonky but eventually worked. I went to open it and it was grey as if it were in the process of updating. The App store showed it had an update ready but it hadn't started. So I manually pushe dit to update. It said it finished in the App store, but the icon for the program stayed grey. So I rebooted thephone and it still didn't work. Then I waited for all other updates to finish and it worked.

So just try all of that.

I just downloaded the latest software update for the iPad and then I was able to update MLS. It turns out the new MLS update requires the latest apple update to work.

Season starts in less than 2 hours.

Why isn't the game on Unimas? In fact, looking ahead several weeks, Friday Night MLS on the Univision Networks seems to be no more. They're doing random Saturday games instead.

It's an interesting shuffle. If you look at the MLS schedule there are 7 games that are actually on univision instead of unimas. I think that is a very good move as ratings are usually better on univision.

Not really. Univision overall televises exactly one Friday night game through May. Fox has the most Friday games, but not every week. Friday Night MLS on Univision stations is dead, unless they revive it for the second half of the season. I didn't check past May.

Right, but you think that MLS would put the first match of the year on Univision rather than Fox Sports?
 
Just got home and the kid to bed. Interested to see what Minnesota looks like in real play.

And Bob Ross was from Portland?
 
It's a nice break to not hear Ramses on a Friday night.

Also, I think Minnesota is going to be po'. Until Ibarra is healthy at least. (Snicker, guffaw at will - I am)
