I’m coming home (First trip to NYC in 20 years)

I'd recommend asking for some alone time (if you're traveling with a significant other) and taking advantage of this time to walk around anywhere you want in the city and doing whatever it is you want to do. After if you're with a significant other I'd probably take her out to an expensive dinner to make up for leaving her alone all day.

I know this is over a month old but damn is this some bad advice. "Hey baby, i know i haven't been to NY in over 20 years and youve possibly never been here. but if you dont mind just chill out by yourself here while i go out exploring. Or you know what just go do your own thing. Welp, see ya later!"

I dunno man, what if she wants her alone time as well?

I’m going back to NYC first week of September 2019.

I’m going to eat at Anthony’s and get a Nutella milkshake (!!!!!) at the place in Brooklyn that CP Scouse mentioned.

I’m going to see an Australian band, Hatchie, at Rough Trade NYC in Brooklyn.

Right now Im leaning toward eating at Peter Lugers before going to Rough Trade NYC. Any suggestions? I’ve never been to Williamsburg.

As of now, I see no reason to not stay at Arlo SoHo again. Really clean, great location, outstanding customer service. For $50, they pick you up in a Tahoe from LaGuardia.
