Jack Harrison [Midfielder]

Looks like he was subbed out in the 90th ? It ended nil-nil .
Got a standing ovation from the fans. Started a bit nervy but was technically on point and had some very nice moments. Ran his bollocks off too and worked hard to get the ball back - looks like he might have caught up to the rest of the team who by all accounts had an insanely taxing preseason.

:( With all these injuries, I miss Harrison this season. He would have been a great part of the pretty pineapple :pineapple:

But we used his GAM to make all those great moves in the transfer window...

Harrison gets the start against Millwall, a bit of a bogey team for Leeds and ...

Scores an 89th minute equalizer:

Bumping myself,

So I ended up watching Leeds-Birmingham city this morning. Of course Jack was subdued and they lost for the first time paint me Jinx sorry Christopher
Wasn't able to watch it as I'm with friends in Montreal. Got a take on the game? Are the wheels falling off already?

Not ready to go that far yet? As far as Jack in particular he didn't play bad he just didn't get the ball much or do anything really noteworthy.

The two Birmingham goals both came in the first half hour and both probably should have been saved. The first wrong footed Peacock Farrell he was expecting a curler into the far corner and it came near side instead. Second went off the post but probably should have been saved. I haven't seen a lot of him play but he's young so a bad game can be forgiven if it doesn't become habit.

I'd say after the second goal Leeds dominated the match. They ended with 71 percent possession and they outshot the brummies 17 to 4 although only 5 to 3 on target so that might have been a fair amount of the problem. Didn't create enough clear cut chances for all the ball they had. Birmingham did set out to frustrate and slow the game down making niggly and time wasting as much as they could. Bielsea took the blame on himself though for tactics which they did make a sub and formation change before the half at which point they did seem to play much better.

Jack played a full 90 again. Only able to follow through livescore and text updates as I'm at work. Sounded like he had at least one good run but elected to shoot instead of picking out Saiz. 1-1 draw at Wednesday. In a vacuum a decent result. Wednesday are 4th only 3 points back, it was away and a derby , BUT Leeds did have 64 percent possession, 25 shots and 7 on target. I think their finishing can be a slight worry and I'd be worried that both Middlesboro and West Brom will win tomorrow and push Leeds down to 3rd.

Leeds v Brentford on ESPN+, Harrison starts again.
Leeds looked like us in the early Vieira days. Struggling to play out of the back, unable to penetrate through midfield. The ref wasn't doing us any favors either. Brentford went ahead on a soft penalty call, but Leeds rallied around the 75th and scored a late equalizer.

Harrison had some nice touches but lacked the final ball and looked a little out of sync with his team mates are times. Overall a brave, hardworking performance though. I'd like to see him back himself a little more and take control of the game, but he seems not to be quite there, confidence wise and maybe isn't dominant enough at that level.

all ill say about bielsa's style is that come end of season the team is gassed sometimes badly. well see what happens with leeds since they play like 40 plus matches for championship not including cup games

EDIT: is every championship game in espn+? or only select games are shown there?

So then is Bielas like Tata? Burns the starters out?
