2019 General MLS Transfer Rumors

Would MLS blocking Nashville on the grounds of Chicago “owning” the players rights step in to Anti-trust territory??? I would think if US Soccer was impartial, they’d side with Nashville on this since they’re in a different league. This also infringes on the players right to work if he had a deal in place with Nashville.
And he’s on a loan and probably won’t even play for them in MLS.

I know this is ridiculous, and Chicago and the league just need to stop being so stupid about this situation, but since they are already going down this route, could Nashville throw Chicago like $50-100k of future GAM/TAM?

You gotta be kidding me. This guy is a high quality player.

his nagging injuries are hurting him recently. he has some tailbone issue and it keeps coming back. Because of this injury he didnt pass the physical at fenerbache last summer, and transfer fell thru, he can still ball just that you dont know how much you really getting from him.

he also had his partying lifestyle, and it was affecting his career in his younger years but the dude seems on the right path on that stuff.

It’s a statement of where American soccer was when Nagbe was developed that he didn’t turn out to be something close to Gini Wijnaldum. He has a very, very similar skill set, and with the proper challenges and opportunities, he probably be a nailed on big 4 league starter as a holding mid.
