If you didn't intend to sound judgmental, you need to pay more attention to your word choices.

Clearly it was a joke.
Next time I will make my remarks so that even you can understand them.
Didn't realize you were so gossamer skinned

not getting involved, just thought it was funny how your first sentence was about being clearer with your remarks and then you go and use a word like "gossamer" in the second

wondering if we're getting "Seasoncard holder bonus" for 500 points this year - their point system is always so messed up, though - they gave me a backlog of attendance points on 10/4 for one card, but not the other

A few months ago I redeemed points for one of those special edition "For The City" magazines. Like others, I never received any acknowledgment nor info as to how or when it would be delivered. It arrived today, together with the battery charger, one of those phone-back pop-up circle things, and a leftover case from last year's season ticket packages.

feels like a going out of business sale

So, I just logged in and - LO AND BEHOLD - the points are no longer allocated by seat, but are combined for my whole account.

Nice move. Makes sense.

Let's hope they offer up some good things to spend it on.

ETA: and no more points for Tweeting, which should come as no surprise since we hadn't been getting them anyway. Lion, you can knock it off now.

Liked for you being a dad to the cub.

How does someone have 210,000 points?

This Trivia Question does not end on June 3.

I don't know a single functionally literate person who is unaware that Brits and Americans write dates differently.
But apparently NYCFC and Man City can't find one employee among them with this basic knowledge, and the NYCFC Cityzens pages keep making mistakes like this again and again and again. CFG just does not care.

They also have the outdated D.C. United logo. Between the app and Cityzens which are both IT'd in Manchester, it's a mess.

Manchester doesn’t have Google?

I'm compiling a list of the incidents -- like the one just above -- where NYCFC and Man City crossed wires so NYCFC fans get either inappropriate emails, or content written in British vernacular, etc.
So far I have:
  • July 20, 2015 NYCFC fans get emails directed to specific Man City fans by mistake
  • March 11, 2016 City Voice asks NYCFC fans to describe their experience during the "Close season" which is British for "off-season," which was made worse when the City Voice moderators let their impatience show after dozens of people complained about that instead of answering the question
  • May 24, 2016 another wrong email from Man City, this one about charity support
  • June 10, 2018 Man City website announces Patrick Vieira's departure before NYCFC does (subsequently pulled)
  • March 5, 2019 NY Cityzens website shows date deadline for trivia in British format
To be clear, and as a disclaimer, obviously none of these are traumatic, and even cumulatively it's a low-key annoyance, but I'm also just getting tired of it. It's like a mildly rough patch on the inside of a piece of clothing. It doesn't give you a rash, or even a mild burn, but after a while you'd rather throw the shirt away than wear it again.

Anyways, what else am I missing? I vaguely recall other incidents of British English instead of American but no specifics. Anything else?

NYCFC fans have been getting horrible content ever since Dome was written in to the story.

It wasn't Vieira leaving, it was mix diskerud leaving that was announced first... No?

It was definitely PV. See this and the immediately preceding post:

I don't remember Mix happening that way. I think NYCFC announced when they used their annual waiver to buy out Mix's contract. Later I believe Man City announced when they bought the contract from MLS. But I don't think Man City announced that NYCFC waived Mix.

ETA: Actually it was Umbro :laughing::laughing: who announced Mix signing with MCFC:

So I logged into Cityzens just now and clicked on the hospitality suite upgrade sweepstakes for this Sunday’s game...and got a blank screen.

The top nav bar was also all scrunched together on the page.

It’s 2019, folks - newsflash: people look at webpages on mobile devices. Come on.

link is broken on Desktop too - if you go to Rewards first, it should work from there (for some reason)
