NYCFC in the Media Thread - 2019

Then NYCFC should sponsor their own weekly segment. Gotta start somewhere.
Amen to that.

It sounds like the type of coverage for someone who has no idea what’s going on with the team. But they might know who Wayne Rooney is and they might have a good time going to a game because the atmosphere is “cool.”

In year 5 you might hope for some more in depth coverage.

Heading into March camp, Lewis sets ambitious goals for club & country

Jonathan Lewis is not one of the players many people expected to be a USMNT contributor to start the new cycle, but Florida native's numbers are outstadning whenever he plays. Now after a strong January camp, Lewis is eager to prove himself against more difficult opponents and alongside the best USMNT players.

I hope Lewis is better on the field for the national team than that writer with his spelling.

When Pep is to leave Manchester, NYCFC are to offer him the managerial position based on a clause in his CFG contract...

Now, I don't think a manager taking a sabbatical at NYCFC is wise from a managerial perspective, but it's Pep, right?
Forget about #DomeOut with this out in public. Who the hell would now take the NYCFC job knowing that you can only hold it until Pep gets bored.

Pep encouraged Dome to take the NYCFC job.

Pep knew that Dome wasn't cut out to be a manager of a club, even in MLS.

So Pep knowing his contract clause for NYCFC, pushed Dome to go knowing that Dome wouldn't succeed.

Pep would then be welcomed in with open arms to NYCFC.

Dome becomes his number 2 again.

CFG Inception!

Yeah, but what’s Pep gonna do when he realizes he can’t scheme only how the team gets to the final third, and instead he has to program what they do to find the net? MLS isn’t the same as coaching superstars at Barca, Munich, and MCFC, most NYCFC guys need help aiming at the net and not off target.
