Connecticut Supporters

Tigin is great during Premier League games I'm sure they would be interested in supporting NYCFC. Bradford's in Norwalk is another good place to watch games, they have plenty of TVs and space to pack in fans.
I haven't been to Bradford's in a while. Worth checking out. I know there is a CT NYCFC twitter page. Whoever runs that should contact a few bars and see if any would give deals, etc. for us to come to their bar for games.

I actually run the @nycfcct twitter account so I can definitely reach out to some local bars in the Stamford and Norwalk area hopefully people in other parts of CT can as well. It would be great to create a list of bars that are NYCFC friendly

Maybe saying you will tweet to your followers ahead of the game their specials would entice them.

Hey folks - I'd love to get a group together to watch away matches in Norwalk or Stamford. It's early, but thoughts?
absolutely! I also think we should get together and go check out some of their training facilities at some point, its going be in Westchester right?

Is there any bar in fairfield county that is similar to the football factory, with a basement/secluded decent sized area to watch games? Places like Tigin work great for EPL games early in the morning but MLS games take place later in the day where these small bars might be somewhat packed with people.

Tavern on 7 in Norwalk is a pretty soccer-centric bar, scarves all over
maybe we should get a list of bars going for consideration. Maybe we set up a Facebook page for us CT supporters to make the back and forth easier. thoughts anyone?

Ideally, I think it would be great to have just one bar to our home for every game and other social gatherings. That would be the best way to get some sort of group discount.

I second the nomination of yourself.

Yeah, I'd much prefer a single home-bar for everyone to get together in.

If we formalize things and make it a Third Rail (or other supporters group) CT chapter, it's possible that we could work out a deal with a bar to get specials and a regular room or something of the sort. Way early on to think about that, but it may be something to consider come January if there's sufficient interest.

I forgot which bar it was cause I was absolutely hammered, but some sports bar in Norwalk in a small shopping center across from a CVS is where TR Bus #1 stopped to watch the USMNT game on the way to Hartford. They gave us a room and had a bunch of space and stuff. Plus I drunkenly fell in love with a bartender. If you have a clue what place I'm talking about or can name it or the street, I'll know it.

Brennan's I bet. On Connecticut ave. That could be an option, but I know they have live music occasionally.

I'll try to do some scouting. I'm based out of South Norwalk, but I'm sure that there's something in Norwalk or Stamford that would be a good fit.

good to see a bunch of people from CT. I just moved to astoria 3 months ago but am from norwalk and lived there up until then

Looks like the club linked up with a Pub in Darien. Center Street Public house. 22 Center St in Darien. Right by the Darien train station. I would say it is worth giving a try since I haven't heard back from the few emails I sent to likely candidates in Norwalk and Fairfield.
