2020 General MLS Transfer Rumors

ATL is crazy not to give gressel a raise. He has proven time and time again to be their best crosser and works extremely well with josef. without gressel serving him the ball, i'm not sure josef scores as many goals.

DC seem to have a really strong squad this year. ATL is losing a lot of players. What is FdB up to? I can't recall them making any big signings to strengthen their squad this off season...

ALSO - Chicharito to LAG is now official.
Trying to get a good look at Atlanta's changes. This is what I've come up with.

IN: E. Castillo, Meza (TAM CB), Walkes (RB), Lennon (RWB)
OUT: J. Gressel, L. Gonzalez-Pirez, D. Nagbe, M. Parkhurst

So, it looks like in the cases of both Gressel and LGP, they've gone out and secured replacements - perhaps guys they like better over the next few years. It kind of reminds me of what New Jersey did effectively a few seasons in a row - moving Dax and Sasha when their values were still high. It worked for them, at least until they sold Adams, for whom they didn't have a good replacement.

The question for Atlanta will be whether they can find someone to fill in for Nagbe.

so out of the team in the east....DC really powered up, orlando to an extent, i think NE will be better under a full year under arena.
DCU will be interesting. They've lost a whole lot and are bringing in a whole lot. Out are Acosta, Rooney and Rodriguez. In are Flores, Kamara, Asad and Gressel. Will be interesting to see how it nets out.

Give Orlando a few weeks and half a dozen matches to prove they’re still a crappy club. It’s in their DNA.

Saturday, May 16 might get really interesting.
The Rapids have several trialists in their camp, with one name MLS fans will surely recognize. Former NYCFC midfielder Kwadwo Poku — who scored five goals in 34 matches — is in camp with the club after spending the last two seasons with the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
oh my god poku and lewis against us... imagine

that colorado game has some "morbo" now .

i just realized that i think attendances will be up this year, not so much for us but the opponents. Dc united and olrando got a peru national team starters and the peruvians i know will show up for them when they come around. chicharito will sure bring out people too. maybe miami depending who they get as a DP

Kemar Lawrence to Anderlecht

So which one of these guys is their LB? The only players I know are Long (who also wants out, but RB are refusing to budge) and Parker

DEFENDERS (8):

Buckmaster, Rece
Duncan, Kyle
Egbo, Mandela
Lawrence, Kemar
Long, Aaron
Nealis, Sean
Parker, Tim
Tarek, Amro
Tolkin, John
Red Bulls are tearing it all down. I really think they're going to be bad this year.
Based on the past 5 years, I'm not much good at predicting anything in the pre-season, but it would be delicious if they took a nose dive this year
