2020 General MLS Transfer Rumors

Amazing he rebelled against the notion of MLS for years, sat out the last few unemployed, but is now destined for an anti-cosmopolitan club showing few ambitions. Went from getting to dictate his terms to this.....
He's 33, hasn't played a game or scored a goal in 21 months, and has had 5 knee surgeries. He could have been a top player of his generation without all the injuries, which is sad, but it's not clear what he has left.

He has enough to get a fat paycheck while not having a whole lot of expectations to live up to. Great move for him... But strange move for RSL

I have great doubts he'll get a fat paycheck. He's trained with the NJRB before and they didn't want him. RSL took a while to decide. It is probably a slim paycheck for a guy who has spent half of his career injured. Only Fernando Gago has had worse luck.

I'm not saying he'll get paid millions. But if signed he'll be making solid high end tam money. That's a fat paycheck in my book.

Guess we'll see if he gets signed at all.

100 percent to NYCFC due to Homegrown signing. The deal is signed when we moves, right? So $1M GAM.
I believe the deal was signed last year and Scally was loaned back to NYCFC until the summer, no?

it's not officially a rumor yet - but just saw on twitter that Daniel Sturridge just cancelled his contract . if he's willing to take a paycut, maybe ATL will be looking to pounce on him to replace josef? definitely not as prolific as josef but perhaps a decent replacement for allocation money.

wasnt that cancellation due to some betting issue? i dont know if FIFA will make inactive for awhile but it was because of some ruling decided.
