General MLS Discussion

If Lewis were taking up a DP spot on our team, there should still be a similar outrage as there is now for Medina taking up a DP spot.
There’d probably be outrage, but at least Lewis would score when he was on the field. People can hate Lewis for whatever reasons they want, justified or not. I hate Medina because he’s useless on the field and doesn’t remotely produce anything a DP should be delivering.

I absolutely hate how MLS puts Nashville/ATL at an 8pm kickoff, and then it actually starts at 8:30. wtf?

welp... there goes josef. that will greatly reduce their ability to advance in CCL. sad.

watching eric miller play makes me so happy we got rid of him. lol.

Miami needs more pink. I’m serious. Instead of white with pink accents give me bold pink away uniforms.
I’d venture that White was chosen for the Florida sun. Any sort of color will be warmer than white.

Now watch them go and wear their darker jersey for home matches......

Man, that is a brutal loss for Atlanta. Really clears the decks for NYCFC. No reason we can't be the No. 1 seed in the East, now. There is no other team in the East as good or as deep as we are.

I think Miami's shorts are pink. But it's way too pale, it looks white

Except for getting screwed over by referees and my ongoing conspiracy theory that MLS (and PRO which it manages along with US Soccer) will do as much as they can without raising serious suspicion to prevent important matches for the league to be held at baseball stadiums.

Can you get this ref’s name on the back of a jersey? Please. Asking for a fan base.

I continue to maintain that referees in this league are too terrible to be able to successfully execute something like this.

What's the going rate for ACL injuries these days? Is it reasonably possible that Josef makes it back and gets into form late this year?

Leroy Sane tore his ACL in the beginning of August and has been training for the past month. I bet he gets into the squad this week for the FA Cup. That means he missed 7 months. I’m sure every injury and procedure is different, but if Martinez follows the same time table as Sane he could be back by the playoffs.

Watching a bit of the LAFC - Miami game on delay. Ben Sweat seems to be balling out for Miami.

ETA: we need to create the weekly MLS threads and move this discussion in there.
