COVID-19 - Leagues Suspended

Guess it was a matter of time, but NYCFC has announced a coronavirus case in the sporting department.

Welp I was there... Hopefully didn’t come in contact with said person.

If somebody from the sporting side is confirmed, than the entire roster, coaches, and support staff is now in self-quarantine. There’s no way everybody wasn’t exposed with 3-degrees of separation in the club.

Wait, did your wife just deliver?
Nope sorry poor wording, not until may. Our hospital is currently not allowing visitors, including the father. So I've gotta sit home and my wife will be by herself. I'm hoping this policy is relaxed in the next two months.
Unfortunately, this can get even worse. We may have to deliver on a cruise ship or a hotel if things get much worse.

Mandatory bed rest? That separation can’t be easy under normal situations and the current circumstances make it worse. Hang in there. Use FaceTime a lot.

Again, poor wording. I'm tired!

We are at home, but when she goes to deliver, she will be by herself under current hospital rules and I'll have to wait a few days to see my kid and my kids will have to go a couple days without Mom. Obviously, in the grand scheme of things in today's world, this is small potatoes, but it shows the trickle down effect on the healthcare system. I'll just be happy if the have enough staff to help her recover and take care if the baby.

so the order that cuomo just gave.....how different is it from what is going on? feels similar just him telling people to stay at home where before he just recommended to stay at home.

in believe all the stores are closed now. Now just supermarkets, pharmacies, Banks, gas stations, etc... no more ordering in pizza or drive through Starbucks for a while.

edit looks like takeout is still a thing. Don’t see the difference either. Except now all office forced closed.

Some say it's a Democrat hoax
some that it's a Chinese bio-attack
some that it's a Hillary and Obama conspiracy to control the masses and reap billions of dollars
we all know what the real conspiracy is
the MLS orchestrated this to give Josef Martinez time to recover from surgery and be ready for when games start again

damn I miss soccer. even disorganized and frustrating NYCFC and shitty MLS refereed brand soccer.

wishing all of you in the NYCFC community and beyond strength and health.

Laundry is definitely essential to not only disinfect/sanitize clothing of a family member infected, but to keep a basic level of hygiene. Soiled clothing leads to all other kinds of issues.
