Most relevant part of the schedule announcement for this thread as compared to the schedule thread:

Per the state’s health and safety guidelines, NYCFC will be starting the season at Yankee Stadium with limited capacity and the need of fans to show negative COVID-19 test results within 72 hours before kickoff – or provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination.

NYCFC will be in close contact with City Members about Memberships. City Members who wish to attend the home opener will have the first opportunity for tickets via an exclusive Member Seat Selection on April 5. City Members will receive an email next week for an email outlining this process – including detailed videos and instructions on how to select seats. At this time, only NYCFC’s first home match will be made available. Future games will be made available on a monthly basis due to potential changes to health and government guidelines.

Ok so if we don’t buy tickets to this game as a City Member, what happens to the $$ that we already gave them for Game 1 of this season?

I wonder if we'll be able to re-sell any tickets on a secondary market given covid restrictions.
People have been doing it for Rangers and Knicks so I don't see why not. The people who purchase your tickets will just have to adhere to the guidelines set.

Wonder what will happen to the benefits we were previously promised for pushing our 2020 money into 2021.

Would be nice if the club made a statement with an FAQ for members. It's common sense to have something like this for situations like this, isn't it? Seriously, who is in charge of this stuff at NYCFC? They're not very competent.

I notice they did charge me as per the agreed payment schedule for 2021, so now they have even more of my money... I hope refunds are coming

This gives me nothing that wasn't in the email they sent us or wasn't already published as part of normal member benefits.

I meant a statement and FAQ with regards to the new schedule, it's optional games guidelines, and FAQ with regard to how the already paid money will be handled and what happens to the benefits we were promised when renewing during the pandemic.

Really doubt we will get any kind of FULL refund. The money will stay with them. How you will be able to use it... who knows. I believe last year's refund for the pandemic was a one time deal.

what do they mean by money deducted? Some of us have paid in full already for our season tickets (in fact, they enticed benefits for us to pay in full, remember?) does that mean that the value of that game remains as a credit...and the big question is what can we use those credits for (with 2022 season tickets at the top of the list).

I rolled over 2020 tickets (had paid in full) to 2021 (so also now paid in full). I assume when I don’t select tickets for the matches at RBA, I’ll just get credited for those games and roll that $ over (yet again) towards 2022.

I emailed them to ask about those rollover benefits they gave us as an incentive to stick with them for 2021, and pretty quickly got this response:

“As of now, we have compiled the responses and saved them. Once we are all set with the processes of having our members back in the stadium we will circle back to the selections each member made and start working on the best pick up options. We will audit the answers and send you an email to confirm it and give you the instructions for benefits pick up.

Please stay tuned for more info to come closer to the home opener.”

I can’t complain about the speed or content of the response. I’d selected >$300 in “tokens” (for upgrades, etc.), $100 merch credit, $100 food/beverage credit, and day at CFA as my rollover benefits. I guess much of that is pretty difficult to get to me right now (and they seem to have their hands full), but I just wanted reassurance that these things were still on the radar and I got that.

So Jonathan Colon must be gone. I just emailed him. And his replacement is on paternity leave?
