2019 MLS Kit Thread

Nice got blank as well. But it seems it did not qualify for shop runner.
Yeah I was having trouble getting shoprunner to show up. I punched it into the help section and it finally gave me the option to use it.

They lost Xbox? Will the green and pink merge next year? That would be something.

Lazy pathetic lazy pathetic lazy..... seeing them all next to each other shows how bad it’s gotten. Mostly generic primary kits and sanitized secondary kits. It will be peak MLS/Adidas if in 2020, teams get issued dark/light pinnies.
Its probably an effect of the success of the Parkett jerseys. People like simplicity.

Yeah, perhaps. I bought one simply because it was white and a 1-off Jersey which was a nice contrast to our blue/dark jerseys, and for all intents and purposes was our 3rd/alternate kit last year.

For an entire league to have their secondary kits be white is just lazy. If white isn’t the team’s normal secondary color, then the white should be the teams’s official 3rd kit, with a “real” primary/secondary kit debuted.... but rolling out a dozen+ Haynes T-shirt’s with screenprinted logos is lazy on Adidas’ part.

Are the Adidas GK jerseys made the same as regular jerseys or do they have extra padding like GK jerseys of old?

Wondering because if the same as reg jersey, then what’s to stop a team from going the Alt/3rd Kit route having the team wear the colorful GK kit and the GK wearing the black GK kit?

Adidas wise I think they're just long sleeve shirts, no padding. May change year to year, but they're just long sleeve kits I believe. They probably don't have enough goal keeper kits to use for each player and still have some for the remaining games. Would be crazy to see a team of bright green camouflage playing... although I could probably just watch an old Sounders game if I wanted to see that?

I'm torn between snarking that it's nice to see the team name on the chest in bigger type than any ad, or snarking that a vintage throwback jersey for a MLB team shouldn't have any adverts. This does seem like an excuse to sell Sox jerseys with Coca Cola stitched on.
It's a promotional giveaway for a game, not for sale. I assume coke sponsored it.
