Premier League 18/19

Yeah in Germany and Spain the big clubs have skill in the dark arts.

Anyone who complains about MLS officiating should see the absolute shit show going on at the end of the Cardiff-Chelsea game.
Wrong thread, you’re a year ahead.

But at any rate, what happened - I only caught the end when Cardiff’s Manager was staring down the refs in the middle of the field.

Chelsea got the equalizer off a play where the goal scorer was a good 2 yards offside. One of the easiest calls you’ll see.

Then there was an arguable red card for DOGSO, although perhaps the keeper gets to the ball even without the Cardiff player being dragged down.

Never really supported a premier league team.

Went to a Chelsea game (Europa league), Queens Park Rangers, and now im going to a Man City match.

The environment is different here... Maybe bc there is more space? Family oriented... Bands playing some good music (The Covasettes) , and tons of events outside stadium. Or NYCFC affiliation...

So far from today i am leaning towards supporting man city. I even bought an away jersey, as i will keep blue for NYCFC... My home team

Pep starting Gundogan at the 6 instead of Fernandinho again in a must-win game. Curious to see how this plays out.
Worked wonders all season while Fernandinho has been out. It certainly helps the attack but we give up more counters. Luckily Ederson was up for it today.

(laughs in Marco Silva)

That GD bump from today will likely be crucial in clinching the Everton Trophy. Next match away to Palace is probably the hardest one left given that Spurs will be down to playing academy kids by the final gameweek.

Watford still have to play Chelsea, City and Wolves (along with So'ton and West Ham) Leicester have Arsenal, City and Chelsea and Wolves have Arsenal and Liverpool along with aforementioned Watford plus whatever is left of Fulham.

I want to believe that United v City today will be a thrilling heavyweight bout that's necessary viewing, but I think the reality here is that United's defense is absolute trash and they're just going to get undramatically run over. Even despite the fact that United doesn't lose much at home.

Is anyone of the contrary opinion that United can make a game of this?

I loved Klopp's recent bantz about how Liverpool can't influence the outcome of this match and United probably can't either.
