Kind of an odd post given that everyone who passed us did so because of an extra game.
No, not odd at all. The way to compare teams with different games played is PPG. Not one team above us has a lower PPG, including the ones who played more games. 1.0 PPG sucks. We'd be better off trading 2 draws for a win and a loss.

The DC and LAFC records reflect that they have won every game at home and gotten results Away, and by chance , each of their only Away games through 7 games has been in Yankee Stadium.

There is no reason to take pride because of an early season scheduling quirk. 1.0 PPG with 2 of 3 games at home is not good. In contrast, the DC and LAFC records reflect that they have won every game at home and gotten results Away. They don't need to celebrate home draws because they have combined for 5 wins in 5 home games . That's what good teams do. Shitty -- or at best underperforming -- teams fail to win at home.

16 points in 16 games.

Eleven teams have failed to win a home game so far.
Three of them have played no home games (Minnesota, Montreal and Portland).
Three have managed to win Away (Minnesota, Montreal, and Orlando).
Another has had just one home game (Vancouver).
The six with 2 Home Games and no wins are:

Atlanta
Chicago
Colorado
New England
NYCFC
San Jose

Four of those six were generally expected to be dismal.

If anybody had been watching Dome steer the team last year, five of those six were expected to be dismal.

Can we let Heber come and have a couple games with a complete squad and a real striker before analyzing where we'll end up?
Has anyone in this thread predicted where we'll end up? I'm on record elsewhere predicting the team will come together after a slow start and have 55 points at the end of the year.

But right now we're shit.

I've been impressed with some glimpses of skill from Mitrita and I'm pinning my hopes on Heber not sucking. I'll confess I haven't watched any of our matches all the way though yet. Had to work for the opener and other things to do the two Sunday afternoons so I can't judge how bad we've looked thus far.

Always nice to see Energy drink lose (since I do think this thread is more for discussing other teams anyway?)

And are New England that bad? Cincy actually good ? Or bit of both?

I saw about a half-hour of the Revs/FCC game, and Cincy was clearly better although I did not see either goal. But that doesn't mean Cincy is good, because the Revs are terrible. Their 2018 had a similar curve to ours, but several notches lower. They started well enough to fool some people, including me, to think they could challenge for the 5th or 6th playoff spot with 22 points in the first 14 games, but then they fell apart with 19 points in the last 22, and they started terribly this year. Whatever magic Friedel had lasted about a third of a season, but to be fair, there's not much talent there. Cincinnati right now is a far better team, and were missing 5 guys to international duty, but hard to say where they will end up.

Other than that the East is topsy-turvy. Last year's killers look lost for the time being (RB and ATL). DC is playoff bound but until they win a handful of Away games (or one) it's hard to measure how good they really are. The Canadian teams have 12 points combined from 5 games total, with only one at Home. Best team in the East at the moment could be the Impact with 2 road wins and 17 home games remaining. Out West, Minnesota has the same record. I doubt they both top their conference at year end, but they have the 2 best starts in the league.

Cincy was really undersold by the media. Just because they didn't spend like Atlanta or LAFC, everyone assumed they'd be the second coming of Minnesota. But that was very short sighted. FCC brought in some decent talent and focused a lot on defense. It's still questionable whether they make the playoffs, but they won't be holding the wooden spoon.
