UEFA Champions League 18/19

Wait are you a Liverpool/Brighton fan?

That last day was crazy too. Moura scored a late goal at Camp Nou to earn a draw while PSV held out and got the draw against Inter in Milan. Sent Spurs through and Inter to the Shadow Realm.
He’s a Liverpool fan. And you’re sad again. Sorry.

ETA; I have no idea to whom you were posting. I do, and always will, take the piss out of you either way:cool::D . It’s too easy. You like spurs, SJ, and live in SF. You’re kind of just asking for it.

We sold a player for $175 million (or whatever the fuck the exchange rate is). In the middle of a season we went to a (real trophy) final. Soooo...Yeah. There’s that.

And also, LFC draw like a shit load more real $ than CFG.

AND the club has only spent as sales and revenues have increased organically. Or did you miss the part where everyone made fun of Liverpool for being almost bankrupt and full of shit players? I didn’t. So fuck off.

Liverpool as it currently exists is as organic as it comes, el duderino. Sorry your club can’t say the same. Enjoy the silverware. Can’t say it’s wrong. It’s allowed.
See this is your problem. You can’t have a discussion. You immediately get sensitive and resort to name calling and expletives. We both started following our respective clubs in the last decade and have contributed next to nothing to their respective coffers (couple jerseys maybe?). Hop off your high horse. I’ll happily fuck off, you’re not worth it.

Lolololol. Sorry man. You’re not my el duderino.

And the stress of knowing it’s either a title or considered failure is going to be a serious weight hanging about their heads. I’m not sure this focus is going to be as helpful as Darke thinks it will be.
Vincent Kompany had an interview recently where he said that’s all a load of nonsense. When there’s a lot on the line players are even more methodical in their preparation. It doesn’t affect them negatively. It only makes them prepare better. They go to sleep earlier and so on.
That showed in this knockout round. They knew what they had to do and some of the guys had the match of their careers. Sterling, KDB, Ilkay and Bernardo were incredible. Honestly save for Laportes errors the entire team showed up and played well.
We’ll see much of the same through the end of the season. I believe we were 7 points behind by the end of December. This team doesn’t panic.

Harsh result for Liverpool. True that they didn't create much, but they were punished by: Gomez failing to mark Coutinho out wide, someone failing to mark Suarez in the box and then bad luck, and giving a free kick away in a dangerous area for the GOAT to take.

...now that I write that out, maybe it wasn't so harsh.

Klopp was a bit hamstrung by not being able to start Firmino, and then Keita got hurt, but why wait so long to bring on a sub in the second half? The run-in in the league is pretty soft. Surprised not to see TAA.
