I would assume that Mata will be back for this game, right?

Edit: Crooks says everyone is at training save Scally, who is probably catching up on schoolwork after the U17s.

No reason we can't maul this sad Chicago team.

New York City FC have a clean bill of health for the trip to take on the Chicago Fire at the SeatGeek Stadium.

Ebenezer Ofori has returned to full fitness and is back in contention after missing the road game at LA Galaxy, while the four questionable players have also waved goodbye to the treatment table.

Ronald Matarrita (calf), Alexandru Mitriță (foot), James Sands (adductor) and Ben Sweat (adductor) have all recovered and will all be eager to feature vs. Chicago on Saturday afternoon.

You can watch the game live on Univision or listen in English or Spanish at NYCFC.com/Radio.

As sympathetic as I am to their lack of charter flights, this was mostly a problem of NYC area traffic on a 3-day weekend getaway day. If they had a charter there might have been a bit less down time between arriving at the local airport and taking off. Other than that this was traffic, a 2.5 hour flight, and more traffic in Chicago. There's no getting around that. Maybe they should have left yesterday.
ETA: Stuver didn't really suggest otherwise, but a lot of the responses and retweets on Twitter did.

Any tips for matching up the Twitter stream with the NYC radio stream? I cant listen to the Univision English announcers, they are terribad.

Never much cared for three-back formations but I'm starting to warm up a little.

I saw it transform Chelsea in Conte's first year and I've been sold ever since (as long as you have premium CBs and the right wingbacks).

I hope Victor Moses follows Conte to Inter -- seems like a good dude, he was born to play that role and is average at best at any other.

I'm looking to see how we fare against a 4-4-2 diamond or another system that can overload those passing lanes

Typically the 352 is considered to have the advantage in the midfield over any team with 4 or less (442 / 433 / 343) in the midfield. The overload is facilitated by the 5, not the 4.

Well, the UK stock market is also closed on Monday. So if the planning for travel was done in Manchester, they should have also realized that it's a bank holiday weekend.
