Medina hasn’t been called for any national team duty, right?? If so there is no reason for him to be in Paraguay unless literally he has been exiled from the team (NYCFC is not even able to have a full bench but yet Medina is still not called?)

Hopefully this means that a transfer is being worked on. LAFC dumped Horta, you can get rid of a DP if it doesn’t work out.

He's gotta be looking for another situation himself. As much as his DP status is a drag on the team at the moment, the lack of playing time he's getting has to be concerning for someone of his age and "supposed talent". If I were him, I'd be out there seeing if there would be any other potential takers.

Hopefully his agent lined up a tryout or three which is what he’s doing. But unless the tryout is for kick/run past the defender, I worry that a team seeing him in person with take a hard pass on him. Best Hope is he’s trialing with a team not known for physical play.

Team is not happy with Medina’s weight room ethic. Nice kid. Poor in the gym.

Club is very excited about tonight and they expect to rout NCFC. They feel good about this game despite all the absences.

lol, no lie though, i think its not really in the culture in most of latin america to be doing weights and gym stuff,others are just built differently, they just work on the on field game. the problem with medina is that even his on field game is still really lacking.

My NYCFC rep got back to me with the Belson Stadium bag policy:

Bag Policy

Each Guest is welcome to bring one bag provided the bag is soft-sided (e.g., diaper bags, small purses, etc.) and its dimensions do not exceed 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches. Briefcases, coolers and other hard-sided bags or containers are not permitted. All bags will be thoroughly inspected before they are permitted into the Facility. Bag-size bins will be used at inspection points, and bags and their contents must fit without assistance, modification or adjustment. There is no storage area for any items that do not meet security requirements.

Ugh, don't tell us this now. You should have waited until after the result. I'm NOT feeling good about this game, especially how to get there and what time to show up.

They are also banning laptops. Which makes no sense for a college campus.
