D.C. (U.S. Open Cup) - Postmatch

Parks was terrific although our midfield pairing was a little light defensively. I’m cool with it though.

I'm loving how polymorphic we are nowadays. It really looks like Dome has managed to get this team to play positionally on an intuitive level. With the system fluidity that this affords us, it's like we're waging war with dragons.

On the flip side, it feels like that "technological advantage" has made us cocky. The last 30 minutes or so were very sloppy from a team that was only up a single goal. I'm hoping Dome gives them a "respect the game" style bollocking in the locker room for their wastefulness.

How much of that was missing Heber in the 2nd half?

Crooks says Heber has a possible hamstring injury but they don't know the severity until tests are done. He asked Heber on the way out how he was feeling and he said "fine." So maybe he just felt a little tightness or a mild strain and they just want to be cautious.
