Did they draw hosts yet for the winner of the east vs the central?

If it does come to be NYCFC against Atlanta I love the contrast in potential venues:
Atlanta: can probably open the top deck and get at least 50k for a semifinal against NYC.
NYC: we'll get at least 90% full at St. Johns (max 2,168)
If it’s a semifinal game, they will have to have a bigger venue people will go.

So... YS is actually available on 8/7 (semifinal) ((8/4 Red Sox- 8/12 Orioles)) & 8/27 (final) ((8/18 Indians - 8/30 As))

um you guys know that if we do make it to the semi's its on August 7th, AND we play the dynamo at home for MLS play on August 8th right?

EDIT: This quarterfinal is a dangerous game. We play Portland Sunday, Wed's the quarters and then Derby sunday. Depending where we are in the table he may sacrifice this one.

Based on quotes about trying for silverware and being so close (quaters). I think Dome plays the kids in NJ. Those would be tough points anyway. Has his best lineup for Orlando and a place in the semis.

Edit: i could also see the moving the Houston match and using the stadium for the USOC semis instead. Reschedule Houston @ citi or somewhere.

Or we can go full baseball and play a doubleheader!

true, they seem to want it, which is fine and i like it. I just dont like seeing them get hammered 4-0 again away in NJ.

If we play the kids because we’re trying to win a cup, it doesn’t bother me. It’s not like they beat our real team. Hell, it’s even a bit of a slap in the face to NJ about how little we care about them because we have cups to worry about instead.

i know if Haak plays vs NJ hell go all out. Kid already knows about the rivalry even if its in youth levels.

I would think the USOC semifinal game gets moved if we were to beat Orlando. Don't know when the hell they'd play it with our weird August schedule, we play Aug. 3, 8, and 11. I could almost see them having to delay it a week and playing on Aug. 14.
